Quanda Baker currently serves as Chief Operations Officer at Clearview Counseling Services, Inc., in Richmond, Virginia. She has 25+ years of higher education professional experience. More specifically, she has 20 years of extensive and relevant experience in both public and private institutions as an advancement professional. Advancement experience includes: alumni relations, special events, development planning, campaign planning, strategic planning, annual fund, planned giving, campaign management and advancement services. Her leadership positions include Associate Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Director of Alumni Relations, Program Director of Title III Programs and the Director of the Annual Fund.
As one of the 2015 founding members of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Richmond Metropolitan Area Chapter, Quanda currently serves as President. She has served on the Executive Board, as the Correspondence Secretary, a member of the Membership, Education, Fundraising and Poverty Committees. She also served as the Phenomenal Women Gala Chairperson 2017-2019. On the National level of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., she has served as a member of the National Education, Public Relations/Technology, and Public Policy Committees.
She is a very active member of St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, VA. Quanda serves as Church Clerk and on the Couples’ Ministry. She also serves as a member of the Board of the Directors’ and Membership Chairperson of the Richmond Powerhouse, a non-profit private organization for professional women and small business owners.
Quanda received the Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Systems from Albany State University, Albany, Georgia and the Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from the University Maryland University College, Annapolis, Maryland. She is married, with 3 children and 1 grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, writing, cooking. cleaning and watching movies.
