Coronavirus 2019 (COVID – 19)
Hello NCBW’s Officers, Board of Directors and Sisters,
First let me say – we miss you!! Rest assured, we have not lost sight of our mission and have not stopped working on behalf of our members and the communities we serve.
As we navigate these challenging times together, the National Office reopened on Monday, May 11, 2020, with local health and safety guidelines in place. The National Office is fully prepared to do its part to keep you informed of everything that is happening in our chapters throughout the Country. We are closely monitoring reports and updates from our chapters local and state government leaders, and we will continue to provide status updates on a weekly basis.
We stand in admiration and thank the tireless and dedicated healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential workers on the front lines of the crisis throughout the country.
We are a resilient and creative organization that is ready to reinvent the structure in whatever way is safe and effective. We will work together to create authentic and purposeful virtual workshops and training webinars for our members and the communities we serve.
Most importantly, we express our deepest and most sincere condolences to the families of those who have been affected by the coronavirus and our prayers are with those who are continuing to struggle with the virus today.
In closing, we thought you might enjoy a little inspiration from Deborah Cox with Tamia Hill “Count on Me” live at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSdS-NQFi0g
Stay Safe. Stay Healthy
Respectfully,
