Virginia W. Harris, National President, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc.
Delivers Inspiring Keynote at 2025 WomELLE Female Voice Awards Gala, Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas, NV – April 3, 2025 – National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) National President Virginia W. Harris delivered an inspiring keynote address at the prestigious 2025 Female Voice Awards Gala, held on March 22, 2025, at The Linq Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The gala, hosted by WomLEAD – WomELLE Magazine, celebrated the remarkable voices and achievements of women across various industries, with a particular focus on leadership, empowerment, and advocacy.

A trailblazer and passionate advocate for women’s rights, President Harris, who was previously featured on the cover of WomLEAD Magazine and spoke at the same event in 2021, was once again invited to share her transformative insights. During her keynote speech, titled “The Unstoppable Woman: Overcoming Barriers,” she captivated the audience with a personal narrative that traced her journey from being one of the first Black students to integrate an all-white high school in Georgia to her current role as a leader of a national organization dedicated to empowering women of color.

“Overcoming barriers requires resilience, faith, and the unwavering belief that your voice matters,” Harris shared with the audience. “My story is a testament to the strength and perseverance of women, and I stand here today to remind each one of you that you are unstoppable.”

As a highlight of the evening, President Harris was awarded the “Woman of Achievement Award” in recognition of her exceptional leadership and advocacy. This honor reaffirms her dedication to uplifting the voices of women, breaking down barriers, and paving the way for future generations of leaders.

In addition to her keynote address, President Harris participated in an esteemed panel discussion titled “How to Shape Your Future by Building a Network That Works for You.” Alongside other influential leaders, Harris engaged in a thought-provoking conversation about strategic networking, personal growth, and the profound power of cultivating meaningful connections.

The celebration of President Harris’ leadership extended beyond the gala. On March 21, 2025, NCBW President Tricia Bookhart, longtime NCBW member Sylvia Allen, and the Las Vegas chapter of NCBW hosted an exclusive reception in honor of President Harris. This special gathering offered local leaders and members an opportunity to connect with President Harris and reflect on her ongoing commitment to advocacy and leadership development for women.
